What does a POS system with a webshop cost?
Fixed monthly prices, side by side
A POS and a webshop cost a fixed amount per month, and with some providers also a percentage of your revenue. Here you can see what you pay with RMS and what comparable plans cost.
In short
- RMS costs per month: Website € 29.99, POS € 49.99, Webshop € 49.99 and Complete (POS and webshop on one inventory) € 99.99. No VAT (small businesses scheme).
- We charge no percentage of your revenue and no fee per order. Payments run through Pay.nl; you pay their payment fees to Pay.nl, according to the plan you choose there.
- Plans that take a percentage of revenue look cheap at low revenue and become more expensive the more you sell.
Prices side by side
As the providers list them on their own websites on 18 October 2026. Prices change; check them with the provider before you choose.
| Provider | What | Per month | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| RMS | POS, webshop or both | € 49.99 per part, € 99.99 for both | No percentage of revenue; accounting included in Complete; cancel monthly |
| Shopify Basic | Webshop | € 36 (€ 27 billed yearly) | With your own payment provider an extra 2% of revenue; in-store POS Pro € 79 per location |
| Lightspeed Retail | POS with webshop | € 99, € 149 or € 229 | One register included; prices may vary, final price by quote |
| Mijnwebwinkel | Webshop | € 20, € 40 or € 70 (excl. VAT) | Annual subscription |
| CCV Shop | Webshop | € 36, € 59 or € 129 (excl. VAT) | Annual contract, € 30 one-off |
| SumUp | Card payments and POS app | € 0 (or € 19 with Payments Plus) | 1.49% per card payment (0.99% with Payments Plus); POS Plus software € 49 per month |

Worked example: a percentage of your revenue
Say you sell € 5,000 online per month and use your own payment provider. Shopify Basic adds 2% on top: € 100 per month, € 1,200 per year, on top of the subscription and that provider's fees. With RMS nothing is added: you pay € 49.99 for the webshop plus the Pay.nl payment fees.
Every webshop pays a payment provider. With Pay.nl an iDEAL payment costs € 0.17 to € 0.19, depending on the plan you choose at Pay.nl (Pay.nl rates, 18 October 2026). If you use Shopify's own payment service on Shopify, the 2% does not apply and you pay their rate per payment.
What else to look at
- Contract term. RMS can be cancelled monthly with one month's notice. Mijnwebwinkel and CCV Shop use an annual subscription.
- Setup costs. With an RMS subscription there are no setup costs. The work to set up your site or webshop is written off over 24 months; if you stop earlier, you pay the part that has not been written off yet.
- What is included. In RMS Complete, accounting is built in: every sale is posted, with a quarterly VAT breakdown and an export for your accountant. With the other plans in this comparison you connect a separate accounting package for that.
- Hardware. With RMS a payment terminal runs through Pay.nl; a receipt printer and cash drawer connect to the POS computer.
Frequently asked questions about costs
That depends on what you need. Card payments with a POS app start at € 0 per month plus a percentage per payment (SumUp: 1.49%). A POS with inventory and a webshop costs € 99 to € 229 per month with Lightspeed. With RMS the POS costs € 49.99 per month and POS plus webshop € 99.99 (prices as of 18 October 2026).
Not from our side: no fee per order and no percentage of your revenue. The fees for iDEAL, cards and in-store payments go to Pay.nl, according to the plan you choose there.
A webshop costs € 20 to € 129 per month with the providers in this comparison, sometimes with an annual contract. With RMS the webshop costs € 49.99 per month, cancellable monthly (prices as of 18 October 2026).
Not always in monthly price. The difference is mostly in what you no longer have to do: no connection between two systems, no stock that does not match and no customers stored twice.
No VAT is charged under the Dutch small businesses scheme (kleineondernemersregeling, KOR); the prices stated are the full prices. If the KOR status ends, all prices will become exclusive of VAT and 21% VAT will be charged on top.
