When Lightspeed is the better fit
Lightspeed is built for retail at a larger scale: multiple locations, a wide range of POS hardware and extensive POS features. If your shop is growing to many locations, it is a strong choice.
When RMS is the better fit
For a shop with one or two locations and a webshop, RMS already includes accounting: every sale is posted and your accountant gets an export. You can cancel monthly and you have one point of contact who knows your shop.
Frequently asked questions
No. With RMS, card payments run through Pay.nl; a terminal from another provider cannot be connected. Receipt printers and cash drawers work through our program on the POS computer.
No, the POS needs an internet connection. We recommend a mobile connection as a backup.
